The Identity/Gender Crisis

Square

I think the “unknowable” part about women is just an extension of the ignorant bias of most males (and vice versa). I think by defining what a man (or what masculinity) was, women (or the feminine) should also be allowed to discover what itself truly means. For a long time the man and women were only defined by their biological relationship. However as time has moved on I think we can progress into a society where we are not only limited to “male and female” but see no need to exclusively treat gender as a societal role rather than an identification of ones own self. The way I see it, the masculine vs. feminine debate (and the identity crisis) of the transgender world would end if we had more legitimized options than just two.
